New version of Drupal topic map module available for download

    Zip. The demos and documentation are online here.

    Many improvements (see the the TODO.txt in the distribution) including:

    1. Added “Web of Life” to test data (REGRESSION.txt)

    2. Added timestamp data plugin.

    3. Added bib role plugin.

    4. Added role plugin category, and time role plugin. (This latter is a crude attempt at Barta’s temporal data. Surprise, time data turns out to be tricky, and while I like Barta’s roles, and who wouldn’t, I’m not happy with the notation at all.)

    5. Performance enhancements, including better TOC caching and simplified tables, with accompanying debugging, rework of reporting, etc.

    6. Association name and notations are now first class Drupal nodes.

    7. Fixed major bug where duplicate associations were stored from the same post.

    Next move is to port to MySQL from PostGres.* Even better would be to develop overlapping markup functionality using JQuery, but for now, embedded, wiki-like markup is functional, and people understand it.

    * I wanted the GIS functionality!
